Better Late Than Never

I can’t believe that the holidays are over. What began with my favorite holiday back in November, the holidays were a whirlwind of family, fun, laughter, hugs, food, festivities, moving, unpacking, and now settling in. Kyle works until 9pm so I’m home alone for a while making our new apartment a cozy home.
Although it’s super late, I thought I’d share a few of my Christmas decorations that I made (and others I bought) for the season.

Peace and joy pendant. Could we have more books??

I wanted to make ornaments for the tree to match the pendant. I thought it would be a really easy project. It was super easy but super time consuming.  I think they turned out great!

I tore the leftover scrapbook paper that I used for the pendant into small pieces. I modgepodged the pieces to some cheap silver ball ornaments from Target.

I think they really matched the theme I was going for.

I saw these on another blog (sorry I don't remember which one) and fell in love with them. I found them at Target and just had to add them to my collection.

I found these cute blocks at Hobby Lobby.

These are my favorite Christmas crafts. I found some cone things in a closet when we closed down the hall. I used some yarn that I've been saving (for when I learn how to knit...ha!) and used hot glue to wrap the yarn around the cones. I cut out poster board for the stars, painted them, and used toothpicks to attach them to the trees.

I got a gift card to Hobby Lobby (and one to Michaels) from my parents for Christmas. I got some great deals today at the lobby and will share some new projects soon!
