So I've been debating whether or not I should try to sell some of my pieces. Etsy shop? Local boutique? On my blog? So I thought I'd show you a few things I've done and let you decide. Any feedback you can share would be super helpful!
I think they are all beautiful! I especially like the vintage bead necklace and the ribbon and bead necklaces. I would definitely consider selling! Maybe you could start out selling on your blog and see what you think...then maybe open an Etsy Shop. I would definitely buy from you!
I really like them all! I would try local boutiques and ETSY. The nice thing about local boutiques, is that they will buy from you right there (get an appointment) since you are a local vender. Good luck! I really like the ribbon necklaces and hair accessories (those are great for children)
I love your jewelery pieces, Laura! You're so very talented! I'm sure you can start out on your blog and local boutiques, and boy, I LOVE that illusion necklace set! They'd sell like hotcakes!
I loved it! Thanks for sharing! I have a great interview with a savvy blogger on my blog right now with great tips on how to help your blog grow. Come check it out http://bloggerchixdesigns.blogspot.com/2010/04/aprils-featured-interview-april.html
I think its worth a try on your Blog and Etsy is super easy to set up and sell at your own pace. Your stuff will sell because its good quality and beautiful.
your things are so pretty, i'd try Etsy the great thing is doesn't take much to get going there. the only downside to the boutiques it they want to buy things for a fraction and it makes it kind of hard to make any money. good luck! susan
I think you should do Etsy. I've been debating on doing Etsy, especially with Matt going into the Navy and me needing a job that would allow moving a lot. I did TONS of research from the business aspect on tips and tricks to make a good shop and sell. If you go into Etsy, let me know and I will give you my notes.
I am thinking of selling my stuff to. Your stuff is awesome and would definitely sell. You don't know if you don't try. That's what I keep telling myself anyway.
Very pretty jewelry! I would try Etsy. Its very easy and you don't have to worry about things like tax and payments (PayPal really simplifies things). The hardest thing for me to figure out on Etsy is shipping charges! :) Good luck!
You can come to my site and post your item for sale--it is free, no charges, and all the space you need for photos. http://cubits.org/tradersplace/ I look forward to seeing you there
