Kyle and I spent the last few days in Ohio with family. It was so nice to relax, sleep in, and not think about work! There were lots of highlights...here are a few caught on camera.
We rented some boats and took a lazy trip down the river. There were just enough little rapids to keep us on our toes.
Kyle's cousin got married last weekend. It was a beautiful, although soggy, wedding.
This was a wedding first.
Every year, Kyle's hometown hosts a strawberry festival. I feel like an official member of the family now.
My undergrad just completed a brand new, beautiful, shiny student union. It was wonderful being "home" again.
There you have it friends.
And now to the next few months...

Good times!!! Glad you were able to have some time off and enjoy your family~
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a relaxing getaway. The strawberry festivals here on Long Island are starting up too. I have a new recipe for whole wheat shortcake that is delish, especially with fresh strawberries.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - I was there just before you on Wed!!! We were visiting my brother/sister-in-law and browsed some of the shops on the circle. We saw the signs for the festival and were wishing that we had timed our visit a few days later - looked like fun. :)
