Praying for Each Other

Each Monday I will be posting prayer requests so that we can hold one another up and pray for each other throughout the week.

You can e-mail your prayers requests to me at iamalongfortheride[@]gmail[.]com. Feel free to e-mail today and I can add them. If you e-mail me throughout the week, I will post them next Monday.

Margherita (she lives in Italy and her boyfriend is in the US):  My prayer request is to ask God if he can help me find a cheap plane ticket to go see my boyfriend who lives in Indiana, US.

We are in a long distance relationship, for about two years now. We met when I was 17, and an exchange student in the US, then I had to go back to Italy to finish High School.
And now I'll have to do college in Italy because in the US the college for international students it is really expensive.

I have been praying God to help me get the money, or someway to do college in America, but oh well it did not work. I know it is weird and maybe stupid to ask God for money.. But that's my need.

A plane ticket from Italy to America is about 1000 dollars. That is a lot. I will be there with my boyfriend this summer, in Indiana. I just hope he could help me find a cheap plane ticket.

Cristal: I would just ask prayer for my husband that he would truly know God and want what He has for him.

Maria (she and her husband would love to be parents, they're just waiting until it's in God's time): Pray that we would continue to wait on the Lord and pray fervently for the Lord to provide clear answers. I really have a lot of peace either way, but I can't get rid of my emotions. I have never felt such a clear separation of the desires of my spirit and the desires of my flesh. Pray that I would cling to the Lord and His word. Continue to pray that I would stand firm in my convictions not to go the fertility drugs route. I can feel the pull of my flesh because the drugs seem to offer fulfillment of my desires.

Praise: God used the women in my life that I have been loving and pouring my life out for to remind me of one of the reasons I am thankful that I don't have children. I love them all dearly and find such joy in serving them, serving the Lord with them, watching them grow in their faith, and being encouraged/challenged in my own walk by them, that they make not having children totally worth it!
