Inspiration Workshop: Kitchen

Each week, Gussy Sews hosts the Inspiration Workshop. Maggie provides us with a prompt and asks us to share what it means to us.

This week: kitchen

For Christmas one year, my grandma got me 8 place setting of Fiestaware- 4 in shamrock and 4 in sunflower. They are beautiful!!

When Kyle and I got married, we registered for every green and yellow Fiestaware piece we could find.

So the inspiration for my kitchen is all things lemon and lime!

I love little pops of color

and big, bold statements of color.

I love the retro feel

and the feel of a cozy cottage.

I love clean, white kitchens

and that subway tile!

  1. I think your kitchen of green and yellow is so soothing. My son is starting to establish his kitchen needs and I think those will be his colors as well. Love your blog, very nice, and thanks for sharing!

  2. GREAT kitchens!! I should hire you to decorate mine. I love your choices!

  3. i just pinned that settee... i love it & the one with kelly green walls. hopped over from gussy. <3

  4. Each one better than the other.

  5. I love the apron front sink and the bottom picture. So clean and fresh!

  6. Love your blog! I just stumbled across it, and it is amazing! I'm sure you're going to be one of my favorite reads!

  7. Love the inspiration Laura!! That top one is my fav- that eat window shade is darling!

Thank you for coming along for the ride with me. Your comments make my day!
