An All-Around, All-American 4th of July

My 4th of July was the best. At least the best I can remember.

First we slept in, which in my book is a pretty great way to start a holiday.

We headed to St. Louis to watch a baseball game. And not just any game. We were in the Champion's Club watching the Cardinals take on the Reds (my hubby is a big Cincinnati fan). Even though the Reds didn't win, the all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink, and air conditioned seats made everything perfect.

When then headed to the Arch for the fireworks. I don't think it gets any better than that.

I hope you had a fabulous relaxing weekend!

  2. Wow!! Looks like a fantastic day.

My brother and I were invited to go to a White Sox game on the 4th with awesome seats but my grandparents were in town so we passed on the opportunity.

I think catching a baseball game on the 4th of July is about as All-American as it can get. :)

  3. Oh wow! Looks like you guys had fun. A friend of mine was going to go, but said the fireworks were cancelled! I really love your blog, and tried two of the tutorials- the rope vase, and paper flowers. I have added one of your buttons to my page. Keep up the awesome work!

  4. Oh wow, that is about the most American lineup of activities I can think of! David and I LOVE St. Louis... we've stopped there both times we've driven across the country this past year, and we always have such a fun, romantic day! So the arch is such a ridiculously special thing to us... how cool that you saw fireworks there!!! :)

  5. Do you guys live in MO or IL? I went to college in Southern IL about an hour from St. Louis. {Greenville College} I actually worked at the fair at the Arch one year for the 4th of July weekend.
