Reflecting on my own life, it's definitely been those trials (storms) in my life where the only thing I could do out of my despair was cling to my Lord and Savior in order to get through those dark days. When life is easy and going well, all too often I put God on the back burner and the scary thing is it won't take long before I get burned! Ouch!
I love the analogy of rain! During storms the pain that comes from devastation can sometimes feel like it's too much to bear, but with the hope in the Lord we know the storm will pass. The calmness that comes after a storm is amazing! The smell, sound, vibrant colors, the cool air against your skin. Ah pure peace! Oh and lets not forget about the growth that comes in the morning! It really is a beautiful thing!

I hope I haven't rambled too much I just wanted to share what's been on my heart recently! The Lord tells us in John 16:33 we will have trouble in this World but take heart because He has overcome the world!! Amen? He is a life Savior!

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
James 1:12
James 1:12
I love the cleansing of rain, too.
