Blog Swap: a little lovely

Hello! i'm so excited to be guest posting here on along for the ride today. i blog over at a little lovely and would love to have you stop by!! i share lots of yummy recipes, fun diy projects, simple yet lovely craft projects, as well as interior design tips.

today i'm going to share with you how to make a rosette necklace from things you probably have laying around your house!!

first, grab a chain that you don't really use anymore. i choose this gold one, but any kind will work.

next, tie a knot in your fabric {i used jersey but cotton broadcloth would work great too}.

twist the fabric and wrap it around using hot glue to secure it every so often.

lay your rosette on a flat surface, put a dab of glue on the back and lay your chain in the glue. you can add a little more hot glue on top if you'd like.
repeat this process with however many rosettes you want.

then, to add a little texture to my necklace i tied some tulle in a bunch like the above picture and hot glued it in a few different places.

it was pretty ugly from the back so i used an extra piece of fabric to cover it up.

simple and cute!!
hope you'll stop by sometime and visit!!
