Miscellany Monday: Thanksgiving and What Not

1. Thanksgiving with family

The last week was nothing short of amazing! Kyle and I spent a full 6 days with my parents in Pennsylvania and it was wonderful to be home, hug and kiss my family, and be reminded what I am truly thankful for.

Don't mind the turkey sticker. Kyle is growing a beard and he wants his parents to be surprised with the final reveal!

While in PA we went to Primanti Brothers, a staple for Pittsburghers. I am ashamed to say that I've never been there, so it was a great adventure!

Their sandwiches are loaded with cole slaw (the vingeary kind) and french fries

I thought mine was yummy.

Mom and I started a craft project. It was looking great, and then we ran out of Christmas balls. I'm waiting for her to send me the final pictures.

2. Getting ready for Christmas

I pulled out the decorations today. We don't have many, but then again we don't have much space either. I'm excited to post pictures soon.

If you're looking for some great Christmas music, may I suggest the "folk holiday" station on Pandora.

Go to pandora.com (and log in or create an account)
Click on Genre Stations in the lower left corner
Click on "holiday" and then "folk holidays"

So good!

3. Cyber Monday

If you're interested in buying a few handmade items for that lady on your list (wife, girlfriend, sister, whomever), I'd love it if you stopped by my shop and took a look around.

Enter the coupon code CYBERMONDAY2010 for 15% off your order!

4. Vera sale

I have quite a large Vera Bradley collection and in trying to be a bit more minimalistic (and not get trapped under my huge purse collection) I would love to sell a few. Send me an e-mail if you'd like to know which ones I am selling.
