Good Tuesday morning friend.
I'm so glad we're making this a weekly tradition.
I hope you had a great Valentine's Day. Do anything special?
It we were meeting for coffee today, I would tell you that I took the day off yesterday. I was still feeling under the weather and didn't get as much done this weekend as I would have liked. So I stayed home.
Since I had the whole day to myself, my sweetie and I got up early and went to our favorite greasy spoon for breakfast.
Eggs, hash browns, toast, various breakfast meats. So delicious!
Yesterday was gorgeous. The bird's were chirping, the sun was shining. Jupiter and I laid in the sun, did some major cleaning, and packaged a few ship orders.
Kyle came home from work with a handmade valentine and stack of book checkout cards. Although that might sound silly, it was the perfect valentine's surprise. I got him a few pins from Etsy, one of which says "books are fun n mental." Ha!
We went to dinner at our favorite restaurant, a delicious Indian place where they know who we are and what we always order. And this time my sweetie splurged for mango lassis!
What a great day!
Oh, and before we leave, I have another cat story. We have this crinkly tube that is in the hallways between our living room and our bedroom. Jupiter loves to hide in her tube and then jump out of it when we walk by, mouth open and both arms lunging toward you. She's trying to scare us! It's just the cutest thing I've ever seen.
I love these posts! Where did you eat breakfast and dinner? I'm trying to recognize them by the picture but it isn't coming to me. Can't wait for our next REAL coffee date!
