Shops I Adore: Stacy Lynn

There are just so many gorgeous handmade shops out there that I want to start sharing some of my favorites with you. Those shops that catch my eye, make me happy, bring a smile to my face.
Simply, shops that I adore.

Stacy Lynn is a genius with a sewing machine. Her designs are unique and so stinkin' cute.

Look at her frilly aprons. Too cute!

She makes gorgeous bags and skirts (that I would like in every color).

And hello... this used to be a leather jacket!!!

I just love all the fun and funky things in Stacy's shop. I also love the pictures. They are great quality and really show off the products.

Interview with Stacy:

What's the story behind your shop name?

Well, Stacy Lynn is my real name. My mom would only say the two names together when I was little and in trouble, he he, It sort of has a southern sound to it when you say it out loud, I guess it brings out the country girl in me. I thought I would call my shop that name... you know.. a little bit country, and a little bit rock and roll!

What inspires you to create?

I am constantly inspired by everything and everyone around me. People I know and don't know, where I live and have lived, travels, textiles. Sometimes the inspiration comes when you least expect it. I just LOVE when that little lightbulb goes off! Like when you are redoing something for the third time, frustrated, then blammo! A new idea pops in your head! That is the best! Or in the middle of the night!

What can be found in your shop?

While I am finishing one goodie, I am super stoked on making the next one! There is anything from aprons to recycled leather and fabric bags, wallets, cuffs. Soon there will be some full skirts! Sometimes I just want to wear a silly apron all the time and wish it went all the way around.... hmmmm. skirts!!

What is one word to describe your shop?

One word?? This is a hard one.... how about... imaginative?
