Saturday is Crafty Day #40

I hope that with summer my party posts will once again be consistent, but for now, accept my apologizes for being a party pooper.

What have you been up to lately?

I've been reading Little Women, taking walks about campus now that it's warm, telling my students goodbye, and closing up the residence hall for the summer.

You know what I haven't been doing? Crafting. I hope you have though!!

  6. I chuckle every time I hear the term 'party pooper' recently. When we were potty-training my little girl she was enthralled with all things toilet. We told her that when she was in the bathroom she could talk about those things all she wanted, but when we were out of the bathroom, we don't use words like 'poop'. When her gymnastics teacher told the class that they were being party poopers on a particular day, Maren walked right up to her and said, "We don't say that word outside of the bathroom." Someday she'll learn the appropriate use of the term, but for now I just laugh when I hear that term. Maybe I'll have something creative to share with your party one of these days. Have a blessed Sunday!
