my new favorite blanket
Lately I haven't felt like writing. I haven't felt like spending time on twitter or Facebook. I haven't felt like returning emails. I haven't felt like creating anything (I think there's an inch of dust on my glue gun...unheard of!).
Lately, I've felt like curling up with a blanket and a cup of tea, listening to music, reading, napping, being quiet.
Because life right now is anything but quiet, and at the end of day I don't have much else to give.
I hope you'll forgive me, or at least stick with me through this season.
I hope you'll be patient with me if your email goes unread for a few more days or your giveaway items sits on my craft desk until the weekend.
I just need a bit of time to get myself going again.
take the rest!

ReplyDeleteSometimes we need a break from the routine. Take a break...don't feel guilty about it. You'll know when you're ready to jump back in and then you'll be even better at all you do. Relax, refresh, don't stress!
ReplyDeleteoh girl, I know what you mean! enjoy the break...it's a crazy time of year in our profession :)
ReplyDeletewe all need times of rest! I hope that your week is restful and you are refreshed!
ReplyDeleteEveryone of us needs time to ourselves and to decompress. We understand.
ReplyDeleteRest is always good, a 'technology break' is good, too. It recharges the mind, and it lessens the possibly for a burn out.
