Peas and Carrots

We mommas wear many hats, especially when it comes to feeding our babes.

We are chefs as we create winning baby food combinations that our kiddies won't spit back out.

We are actors as we portray trains, airplanes, and tug boats to get them to open their mouths.

And yesterday I become a singer/songwriter as I serenaded my son over dinner.

I call it "Peas and Carrots."

Peas are green and they grow on a vine
Carrots are orange and they grow in the ground
Carrots have a peel and are long
Peas come in a pod and are round

Carrots grow deep in the dirt
And peas grow toward the sun
Peas and carrots are good for Sammy
But momma doesn't like either one

Seriously though, they're gross.
