Funny Break

I saw this here and thought it was hilarious!

Let me draw your attention to a few items:
"Never try to sew with a sink full of dirty dishes or beds unmade." If that were the case, how many of us would actually sew?
"When you sew, make yourself as attractive as possible."
Then you do not want to see what I looked like last night when I made the camera case!

How funny! Now get back to work!

  1. OMIGOSH! That is too funny. I guess I should go shower and do the dishes then, because none of it looks good. I have yet to shower after coming home from the pool....well because the baby is asleep and that's the best time to sew. I should probably get back to it. Probably not a good idea to have my computer so close to the sewing machine :)

  2. I love those bits of advice. You know, some of it is really still relevant. Thanks for sharing.

  3. HAHAHAHA! That is amazing!!!! I think my favorite part is that if you're afraid your husband isn't going to think you look pretty when you get home, you aren't going to sew as well. Wow. hahahahahahha

  4. In my case, just insert the word "craft or scrap" instead of "sew"... but yes, it is quite entertaining.... I will say to a point, I can't concentrate creatively with major clutter and mess around me, but the other side to that is that I'm never more productive than when I'm putting something off (like housework! ).

  5. That is funny. Oh if only I could be showered, dressed with hair and make up done before starting my daily chores. Well, I am not sure anything would get done.

  6. It didn't say anything about wearing neatly pressed pajamas while sewing, did it? Okay, I don't press my pajamas.
