I am most definitely a beginner when it comes to sewing. My sewing machine intimidates me, but I've been trying to get more comfortable. I'm still not very good, but my stitches are getting a bit straighter.
I made this last night using the tutorial found here.
I love it! And I can't believe I actually made it!

ReplyDeleteGreat Job!!! :)Love the surprise flowery lining when it opens up! :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I found I used to be afraid of my sewing machine. The biggest thing that helped me get over it was receiving free fabric. I first got some small pieces from a lady on freecycle, and then not that long ago my friend's mom gave me 3 giant boxes full! When I know that I didn't pay for it I'm not so scared if I mess up!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! Love the contrasting fabrics!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I love that! It's so adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove it!! I've been sewing since I was wee tiny; I always like making smaller cuter things like that!!
