This weekend Kyle and I took a trip to the country.
I am definitely a country girl at heart. The fresh air, blue sky, yellow fields. The corn maze was a pretty quick stop off the interstate, but somehow google maps thought it would be best if we took the long, long way. The entire time Kyle sang "county roads, take me home, to the place where I belong." I think you know the rest.
There were pumpkins, and more pumpkins, and a little photo shoot.
Kyle wasn't so eager to participate.
And then there was the corn maze.
I was a bit confused at first as to what the point of a corn maze was. Do you just walk around? Looking at corn? Whereas most people go into the corn maze, wonder around, and find the check points, my husband meticulously mapped out our course, documenting each twist and turn we made. While he did that, I just kind of went where he told me to go.
What a wonderful day with my hubby, wondering around on a beautiful fall afternoon, stealing kisses between the corn stocks. With our crazy schedules, we don't get to spend as much time together as we'd like. I savor every minute I can get with my lovie!
